1. What is the Present Continuous?

The Present Continuous tense is used to describe actions that are happening right now or around the present moment. It shows that the action is in progress and ongoing.

Form of the Present Continuous:

Subject + am/is/are + Verb-ing

2. How to form the Present Continuous:

For "I": Use am.

For singular subjects (he, she, it): Use is.

For plural subjects (we, you, they): Use are.

3. When do we use the Present Continuous?

Actions happening right now:

This refers to actions that are occurring at the moment of speaking.

Actions happening around the present moment:

This can also refer to actions happening during a period of time around now (but not exactly at the moment of speaking).

Future plans or arrangements:

We use the Present Continuous to talk about future plans that are already arranged.
